Who we are and what we do

Our Mission

Footstep Ministry is a fellowship of small groups, congregations, and celebration gatherings woven together by a single purpose—to share the life-giving message of Jesus Christ.

Know God

We believe in a loving God who wishes to have a personal and dynamic relationship with us. Through prayer, worship, and Bible-centered teaching, we experience a life-changing relationship with Christ.

"...that I may know him and the power of his resurrection" (Philippians 3:10)

Find Freedom

God’s desire for us is to live in His wholeness and goodness- unhindered and fully alive.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith.” (Hebrews 12:1-2)

"...that I may know him and the power of his resurrection" (Philippians 3:10)

Love Others

We believe deliberate, authentic, and redemptive relationships are key to sustaining spiritual growth and building community. Through authentic relationships, we find love, support, encouragement, accountability, and discipline.

"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God." (1 John 4:7)

Make a Difference

We are here to make a difference in a world that needs Christ. We do this by living generously, loving deeply, and serving joyfully.

"Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 5:16)

How does it work?

Cells

Cells

Cells are the church’s fundamental building blocks and are the backbone of its mission. A cell is a small group of people who meet regularly for spiritual formation through worship and prayer, the study of Scripture, mutual encouragement, and mission. Cells are marked by close interpersonal relationships, increased accountability, deliberate study and application of scripture, and intentional outreach.

Congregation:

Congregation:

A congregation emerges from a cluster or network of cells. These clusters of small groups regularly join for a time of worship, spiritual formation, and training. The congregation becomes a center for experiencing community, spiritual formation, and mission. It functions much like a large extended family. Members may know everyone on a first-name basis. They tend to enjoy a similar style of worship and have many things in common. The organizational structure is relatively simple, led by just a handful of people

Celebration

Celebration

Celebration is a network of congregations working together to maximize their kingdom potential. The goal is to gather for worship, training, and leadership, with the main focus being aiding and supplying cells and congregations in their labor to follow Jesus and share the good news of the kingdom within their own mission field.
